Scientific Activities:

I joined the Mathematical physics group in the summer 2003 as an undergraduate student. I made my Master's thesis on lattice model convergence to stochastic Löwner evolution (SLE) and gratuated in June 2004 from Helsinki University of Technology. My work was instructed by academy professor Antti Kupiainen. In my work I studied example case of uniform spanning tree (UST) based on ideas of professor Stanislav Smirnov (Geneva/Stockholm).

In fall 2004 I was fortunate to visit Geneva and professor Smirnov and to start working with him in SLE related problems.

The year 2005 was a quiet year in mathematics for me: I spend the whole year serving my country as a conscript. I returned to my gratuate studies in early 2006.
