About Me
I'm a former student at the university of Helsinki. I studied
here from Summer 1999 till Summer 2007. I obtained here my
Master of Science in 2004 and worked as a postgraduate
student for the following three years under the supervision
of Prof.
Sören Illman. After I obtained the Licentiates
Degree in June 2007 I got a PhD place at the School of
Mathematics at the University of Southampton where I
continue in the field of homological algebra since October
2007.

Construction of the Real Numbers from the Natural
Numbers. 2007. In this text the construction process
of the real numbers is described. Starting from a set
satisfying the Peano Axioms we construct succesive the
integers Z, the rational numbers Q and then
finally the real numbers R. All results are given without
proofs as the intention of this text is only to outline
the construction process. (pdf)
